In the heart of Birmingham, Kayal Birmingham brings the flavours of Kerala into sharp, appetising focus.

Celebrating South Indian culinary traditions, this multi-award-winning restaurant highlights aromatic spices and time-honoured recipes that speak to the depth of Malabar heritage.

The menu moves from crisp pre-meal snacks and tangy pickles to gently spiced soups perfumed with curry leaves. Signature curries glow with coconut, black pepper and ginger, while crispy dosas and fragrant biryanis showcase regional comfort with finesse.

Vegetarians and vegans are thoughtfully catered for, while the coastal larder takes pride of place with seafood prepared in traditional style, delivering brightness, heat and balance in every bite.

Beyond the plate, the atmosphere nods to the region's rich food culture while feeling distinctly Birmingham - warm, inviting and ideal for convivial gatherings.

Whether settling in for a leisurely feast or a swift city-centre supper, diners can expect a distinctive experience guided by authentic taste and fresh ingredients. Make a date with Malabar spice, explore the menu, and let Birmingham meet Kerala, bite by bite.
