Square Grill Restaurant & Piano Bar brings a refined yet relaxed rhythm to Bath City Centre from morning through evening.

Set beside the iconic Bath Abbey and Roman Baths, it's the sort of place where a leisurely lunch eases into a sizzling steak dinner, and drinks on the terrace catch the last of the light.

In the kitchen, great ingredients meet honest cooking. Starters move from Mediterranean warmth to crisp, modern notes, tiger prawns in rich tomato and chilli with a lick of feta, or smoked salmon tartare sharpened by pickled heritage beetroot, horseradish and a mustard dressing, finished with micro herbs.

Mains keep the pace: a spiced monkfish tail bathed in shellfish velouté and tomato with mussels and white wine, and confit duck leg poised against cranberry gel, glazed parsnips and squash purée, rounded by a red wine and pomegranate reduction. For something classic, the grill delivers with a ribeye steak or a juicy beef burger, while lighter choices range from a timeless caesar to an Asian beef salad with tenderstem broccoli, soy and sesame.

Polished yet welcoming, with the easy charm of a piano bar and the promise of a well-made drink, Square Grill invites diners to linger.
