BARBI: Bristol Association of Restaurants, Bars and Independent Establishment
First Table is a proud member of BARBI, The Bristol Association of Restaurants, Bars and Independent Establishments.
BARBI was established to give independent businesses a collective voice with the council, provide increased purchasing power as a group and facilitate networking events for the industry.
The industry group was set up in January 2017 and now has nearly 400 venue members. BARBI has partnered with a number of hospitality businesses, some of which are able to save costs for members as well as provide access to other suppliers that provide higher levels of service.
BARBI is also one of the largest networks for recruitment in the Bristol hospitality industry. As well as having a portal to advertise for permanent staff, the network also allows quick responses when you need staff in an emergency to cover illness and holidays.
