With a location as commanding as its culinary offerings, Dosa Darlings is ready to shake up East Oxford's food scene. Housed inside an imposing building on the vivacious Cowley Road, this vibrant South Indian joint marries modern comforts with traditional touches to create a unique ambience.

For big groups, opt for the terrace tables: soak up the sun under a canopy of palm trees whilst enjoying a leisurely lunch or a raucous dinner. Inside, column-like dried tree branches provide the perfect cover for that all-important date night. Underneath their cosy, dimly-lit hideaway may look austere, but it is a nice table for two.

They say great things come in threes, and the restaurant wouldn't leave one part of your night incomplete. As the chefs work their South Indian magic in the kitchen, the bar team will be on hand to serve up Indian-inspired cocktails, from a fruity green cardamom G&T to a vodka-and-ginger twist on a Mint Choc Chip mithai. Classics are also on offer for those who prefer their cocktails shaken, not stirred.

Making the trip across India to Oxford's Cowley Road, Dosa Darlings serves up unique Indian-inspired cocktails that
will leave guests in need of a lie down… preferably beneath an imposing, dried-tree tree (if not up a palm nested on the fully heated and covered terrace).
