Taking its name from the Urdu word for "to eat", KAANA South Asian Canteen brings the spirit of the subcontinent to Chorlton.

It’s a canteen with heart, where the ritual of eating together is celebrated through generous plates and honest flavours.

The kitchen centres on traditional Indian thali and the classic rice and three, with a daily-changing menu showcasing the breadth of South Asian cooking. Expect rich masalas, tender meat curries, and vibrant vegetarian dishes - all paired with fresh naans and aromatic rice for a perfectly balanced meal.

Lively and welcoming, it captures the vibrant spirit of a South Asian canteen, making it the perfect setting to gather with family and friends.

With dishes grounded in tradition and prepared with care, every visit offers new flavours to discover. Book a table now to see why KAANA consistently earns top reviews online and is featured across Manchester’s best food blogs!
