A homely pub with all the added glam and chic styling that comes with dining out in Chelsea, The Phene has over a century's worth of stories to share with its esteemed diners.

Only for those in the know, you'll find The Phene hidden in amongst Chelsea's leafy side streets. Towering over the picturesque suburbs, The Phene occupies a stunning townhouse that stretches over three floors. Inside, they've leaned into the clubhouse aesthetic with dreamy, comfy landscapes that keep the decorative additions to a minimum. Sky blue sofas, ethereal chandeliers and flowery pendants create an almost heaven-like feeling that invites you to fully recline in a space that will soon be your second home.

As for the food, they're staying true to their Chelsea heritage with British food prepared with irresistible flare. Headed up by Michelin-trained chef Sidy Kounta, to begin, oozing baked camembert and charcuterie boards prove to be gorgeous sharables that tickle the appetite into action. Add on some beef fillet carpaccio, steamed mussels or Cornish crab toast for an unbelievable starter that hits all the right notes.

Believe it or not, it only gets better. Up next are exclusive cuts of British organic meat. Indulge in celebrated dishes like pork chop with black pudding and an apple cider sauce and slow braised shortrib with a side of hearty lentils and black cabbage, or perhaps the pan-fried sea bream, clams, leek and potato chowder with savoy cabbage and parsley oil will take your fancy. As you can see, comfort and warmth are very much at the top of the agenda. Vegetarians also get a piece of the action with a leek, parsnip and cheddar pie, and a butternut squash risotto.
