In the heart of Brixton, Chip Shop is a legendary hub for hip-hop culture in South London. Housed within the historic Old Black Cultural Art Centre, this iconic venue has set the stage for unforgettable moments, welcoming some of the biggest names in the game.

From the raw underground roots of hip-hop to today’s cutting-edge sounds, Chip Shop has built an unrivalled reputation for world-class performances. The spirit of legends like Chuck D, Ice T, B Real, Run DMC, Skinnyman, KRS-One, Klashnekoff, Talib Kweli, Rag’n’Bone Man, Keith Murray, and Mobb Deep lingers within its walls, shaping Brixton’s rich musical legacy.

But it’s not just about the music. Chip Shop serves up bold, flavour-packed food that hits just as hard as the beats. Their bestselling fish and chips come with a choice of classic fried cod with tartar sauce and chips or a vegan alternative. The burger lineup features The O Dog (inspired by Menace II Society) with Wagyu beef and double American cheese, while The Black Twang offers a hearty vegetarian option with a mushroom, black bean, and quinoa patty.

Wings are another standout, available in flavours like Korean, honey mustard, and bourbon BBQ. For something with a twist, they also serve Hennessy-infused wings with three sauce options. Finally, complete the experience with expertly crafted cocktails, ice-cold beers, and top-shelf spirits, all served in an atmosphere that lives and breathes hip-hop culture.

Whether you're a lifelong hip-hop fan or just looking to dive into Brixton’s vibrant food and music scene, Chip Shop is the place where rhythm and flavour collide. Step inside, grab a mic and tuck into some legendary eats—the music never stops, and neither does the good food.
