Over in Crouch End, The Humble Grape is reimagining a wine cellar with a dynamic interior design that sparks conversation and never fails to draw attention from passers-by. Overlooking the street and the window-side tables is a chorus of hanging wine bottles that work to set the tone for the rest of the venue. Surrounding the other seating are shelves upon shelves of gleaming wine bottles that one may peruse at one's leisure before returning back to their table next to the old fireplace. At once modern with nods towards traditional farmhouses, Humble Grape in Crouch End is cutting edge, luxurious and homey all at the same time.

Whilst you're drinking such remarkable wines, it makes sense to indulge in intricate and artful plates. They're embracing the warmer months with a Spring menu that is bound to make your tastebuds dance a merry jig. Ease yourself into the evening with some crab cakes, beef carpaccio or a spritely asparagus tart to have alongside your first glass of wine. Then, move on to European heavyweights like a French-inspired Côte de Boeuf, flat iron steak or a seared salmon with Jersey royals and a white wine sauce.
