In the heart of Somers Town, just moments from London Euston Station, Bombay No1 brings the colour and comfort of Indian home cooking to one of Camden’s busiest transport hubs. With a central perch on Eversholt Street, this vibrant spot draws commuters, local residents, students and visitors alike, all in search of authentic flavours with contemporary presentation. The kitchen champions fresh, quality ingredients and time-honoured recipes, plated with a modern eye.

From the smoky heat of the tandoor to slow‑simmered curries and fragrant rice, the cooking is bold yet balanced. Think chicken tikka with tender char, butter chicken in a velvety tomato sauce, or lamb rogan josh layered with warming spice; perhaps tandoori king prawns before a gently spiced biryani, warm naan for tearing, and a cooling mango lassi on the side. A neat wine list, from Malbec to Sauvignon Blanc, keeps pace.

Welcoming and relaxed, it suits family suppers as much as a quick bite between trains. Friendly service, easy comfort and genuine flavours make it a handy rendezvous in this bustling part of central London. Drop in before you set off, or settle in and stay a while; either way, let Bombay No1 put some spice in your step.
