dinner

In Woodford, Namak brings the breadth of Indian cooking into clear focus, moving from tangy street‑style bites to charcoal‑kissed grills, slow‑simmered curries and fragrant biryanis. It is a menu built on balance and contrast: bright, crunchy moments giving way to smoky depth and gentle heat.

The opening act nods to the bustle of the north: Delhi Ki Chaat marries crisp textures with yogurt, fresh mint and tamarind tang, while Prawn Puri piles tiger prawns in a spicy tomato sauce onto hot, fried bread. From the tandoor, Patiala Fish Tikka layers salmon with mustard, dill and honey for a sweet-savoury glaze, and grilled lamb chops come luxuriant with spice and cream.

Comfort takes centre stage in the Chef Speciality dishes, where Butter Chicken folds smoked chicken into a velvety tomato sauce, and Lucknowi Nalli Gosht delivers lamb shank in an aromatic gravy. Curries such as dhansak and tikka masala speak to time‑honoured craftsmanship, while Gosht Dum Biryani and chicken biryani promise that all‑important rice perfume. Vegetarians are well met by Amritsari Palak Paneer and Paneer Makhani.

Expect generous flavours, plates designed to share and the quiet theatre of spice doing its work. Gather your favourites, bring an appetite and settle in for a lingering meal - the kind that invites one more bite, and then another.
