Filling bellies all over London with hot, comforting ramen, you can find in Hackney on Mare Street.

In true Hackney style, this Tonkotsu branch has plenty of urban edge to satisfy the hipster and corduroy-clad locals. The brick ceiling plays host to exposed pipes...could you get any edgier?! The restaurant is long and narrow, affording it an intimate atmosphere.

There’s ramen for days! Choose from six types of ramen, like their signature tonkotsu ramen or their vegan chilli tofu ramen. Then customise it to your taste with an array of add-ons like a seasoned egg, kimchi or pork belly. And if you don’t think that’ll fill you up, have a few pieces of gyoza on standby.

Accompany your Japanese feast with a bottle of the good stuff. Their wine list is short but carefully considered, but if you want the true authentic experience, get some Sake in! Alternatively, keep it cool with a Kirin beer or a cocktail.
