Since 2001, HAZ Premier Place has been Aldgate's cosy slice of the Mediterranean, where a warm welcome meets an always-on grill and expertly mixed cocktails. The room hums with easy-going hospitality; the kind that invites long conversations and generous plates. It is an address for sunshine cooking and unhurried dining, with a menu that nods to the region’s favourite traditions while keeping things fresh and simply done.

Meze leads the way, from red lentil soup brightened with roasted red pepper paste and fresh herbs to silky hummus lifted with tahini, garlic and lemon. From the stove, falafel arrive crisp and aromatic, while hummus with lamb brings pine kernels and tender dice to the table, a satisfying bridge between snack and supper. Simple sides such as basmati rice and spiced new potatoes with parsley keep the focus on flavour.

Flames favour the main act: a grilled salmon fillet with heritage tomato salad and rocket, or a swordfish steak with spinach, tomatoes and a chilli and lemon sauce. Carnivores can look to a Black Angus sirloin with peppercorn sauce and sautéed spiced potatoes, or an Australian Wagyu rib-eye with chimichurri sauce and a rocket and shaved Parmesan salad.
