At Amber, a meal isn't just a meal. It represents history, culture and recipes that have been passed down through generations. That's what makes their menu an adventure in itself.

Celebrating their eastern Mediterranean routes whilst also being a proud member of the vast London dining scene, Amber is a mixing pot of everything. Inside it's lush and summery, just like the Mediterranean. Light wooden furniture is complimented by bare stone walls that provide a cooling effect, as well as bountiful potted greens that breathe life into every corner. It's fragrant, welcoming and warm; a mini vacation at any given time of the year.

The menu is equally optimistic with all the vitality of the southern European landscapes. First off are the small plates that work brilliantly as starters or as a tapas-style main course, In any case, you can enjoy signature ceviche made from fresh seabass, fried cauliflower with green tahini and an intriguing hummus gnocchi that pairs the delicious potato-based Italian pasta with chickpeas and parmesan.

Bigger plates take on bigger cuts of meat, such as lamb shoulder that is slow-cooked to perfection and served with a medley of aubergine, yoghurt and pita croutons. As for seafood lovers and vegetarians, they can get their summery fix through some mackerel matbucha or a power salad brimming with energising greens. Just don't be surprised if you throw all your good intentions out of the window for a mango baklava; this sweet morsel is more than worth it.
