Osteria Locatelli at the National Gallery is the latest chapter from celebrated chef Giorgio Locatelli, bringing the warmth of Italy to Central London.

Rooted in family, heritage and soul, the kitchen looks to the Gallery’s collection for cues, with Caravaggio a particular touchstone. An 80-seat dining room overlooks Trafalgar Square, balancing a cultured setting with Italian hospitality.

The menu moves with the seasons, celebrating the very best ingredients through a distinctly Italian lens. Guided by a deep respect for tradition, the kitchen presents vibrant flavours and refined cooking that evolve throughout the year, ensuring each visit offers a fresh perspective while remaining true to the spirit of Italian dining.

Within this welcoming space, guests can embrace the heart of Italian culture. From hand-crafted pasta to classic main courses, every dish is an authentic expression of culinary tradition.

Casually sophisticated yet thoroughly inviting, it's a place to linger between masterpieces and plates. Follow the seasons across the table and let art meet appetite. Book a table and make a little theatre of lunch or dinner - brushstrokes on the wall, big flavour on the fork!
