dinner

Once in a while, a restaurant really gets it right. Chez Mal is one of these, hitting the sweet spot of great dining atmosphere and classic British dishes with a cool contemporary vibe. Tucked inside Malmaison, it brings effortless style and a splash of personality to the local dining scene.

The menu opens with a tasty tease, with sourdough bread and whipped smoked butter followed by a retro-style prawn cocktail done right. Then comes the showstopper. Scottish heritage breed beef, grass-fed and hand-prepared by an award-winning butcher, served with roasted onion that’s anything but ordinary.

Save room for dessert because the sticky toffee pudding is rich, gooey and everything a proper ending should be. The drinks are just as exciting, with signature cocktails and a wine list that pairs perfectly with any dish or mood.

All in all, a very friendly place to eat dinner indeed. Pull back the curtain and enter a place where life tastes great. They’ll be waiting for you.
