Cuisine: A La Carte, Family, Italian
Price Point: Mains from £15-£35

For fine dining, fine wines and fine times, look no further than this popular Italian restaurant which boasts a prime location in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Situated on George IV Bridge, Vittoria on the Bridge has been serving up delicious, authentic Italian cuisine since it opened its doors in 2007.

With third-generation restreuteurs, the Crolla family, at the helm it’s no surprise that the menus are made up of the freshest Italian ingredients, many sourced directly from small artisan suppliers in Italy.

Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in to a sumptuous antipasti spread, including spicy nduja and bean stew, before moving onto comforting homemade pastas, thin-crust pizzas cooked in an Italian oven, mouthwatering meat dishes and decadent desserts.

A dedicated vegan and kids menu means there really is something for everyone at this much-loved locals’ spot.

If you’re feeling indecisive, the team are extremely well-versed on the wine list and have forged relationships with the growers which go back many years. Taste your way around Italy or add a little sparkle to your evening with a classic spritz.

Delicious food and amazing, friendly service throughout our dining experience.
I am very familiar with the Vittoria group but my friend had not been before and will certainly be back when next in Edinburgh.

We had a great night at Vittoria’s. Gaetano warmly welcomed us to the restaurant and looked after us well all evening. The linguine alla pescatora was definitely our favourite dish, heaps of mussels, squid, fish, prawns and scallops - delicious! Thanks Vittoria’s!

A last minute booking on the day. The staff were very friendly and had some good recommendations. A good place for families and groups, not quite the atmosphere for a romantic dinner but that doesn't seem to be their target audience. There's an ice cream bar/bar area to wait/drink at. Traditional Italian fayre (pasta, pizza, carne.) The service was quick and the servings very generous (almost too much), though you can always squeeze in dessert. Surprised that they had run out of the 'cake of the day' by 7pm, but the tirimasu was very tasty. Centrally located in the Old Town.
