Souvlaki Greek Kitchen brings a taste of Athens to Edinburgh Central, channelling the bustle of the streets and the warmth of a neighbourhood taverna. It's a place built on simplicity and freshness, where honest ingredients and generous hospitality do the talking right in the heart of the city.

The table fills easily here. Bowls of xoriatiki, the classic Greek salad, and maroulosata arrive bright with olive oil and dill, ready to be paired with fluffy pitta bread, Kalamata olives, and spoonfuls of tzatziki and hummus.

From the grill, chicken gyros stars in soft pitta wraps or as a hearty dish, while halloumi lands with a satisfying sizzle and feta psiti bakes under peppers and tomatoes.

For something more substantial, comfort lies in the chef’s specials, ranging from tender lamb chops to bountiful platters from the coals.

To finish, tradition leads the way: honeyed layers of baklava and sweet, citrus-infused portokalopita offer a memorable send-off.

Whether it's a quick lunch or a leisurely feast with friends, Souvlaki Greek Kitchen keeps the mood relaxed and welcoming. Drop in for sunshine on a plate and stay for the easy-going charm!
