A perky, colourful eatery that has cemented its place as part of the Easton community, Thali brings people together through the medium of authentic East Indian food.

Bringing plenty of pop to St Mark's Road, Thali embraces life with a full heart. During summer, the patio is always full of happy munchers whilst inside the party really gets underway. Painted in cheery shades of pink and blue, plus enough hanging greens to furnish a small forest, Thali is a vision of swashbuckling, unadulterated joy. No matter what, everyone leaves with a huge grin.

And that's also in large part because of the food! Award-winning, sustainable and ethical, each dish is crafted with care and love. At the centre of the menu are the Thalis; these are regional specialties from India and are served with dahl, basmati rice, yoghurt and salad. The traditional northern workers curry, or Chana Masala as we usually call it, is full of chickpeas and spices, the Goan fish curry basks in the glory of coconut and mustard seeds and the Kerelan nandan chicken boasts all the creaminess and fragrance that makes Southern dishes so unique.

If you simply can't decide, opt for the Tiffin Bowls which offer small portions of everything! Your ticket to trying all the most stunning flavours India has to offer, these sharing bowls fit perfectly to Thali's philosophy of generosity and connections through food. Wash it back with a British or Indian craft beer or keep it super traditional with a sweet chai tea. Make it more 'adult' with dark rum and let this sweet nectar conclude a truly unforgettable evening.
