Tomato & Basil Pizzeria brings the warmth of Italy to Bishopston, with a purist’s respect for dough.

Their bases are slow-fermented for 48 to 72 hours before meeting the heat of the stone, yielding light, flavoursome crusts that are kinder on the palate. A rustic tomato sauce and fior di latte mozzarella, sourced from Italy, keep things honest, while a steadfast commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients does the rest.

Starters might begin with mac 'n' cheese or a chicken caesar. For dipping aficionados, we recommend the tzatziki and hummus served with fresh zaatar made in-house, or crispy halloumi fries.

On the menu, familiar Italian comforts rub shoulders with crowd-pleasers and a nod to mezze: think margherita and quattro formaggi alongside prima pepperoni or prima chorizo. An ultimate vegan for plant-based purists; little margherita and little pepperoni for younger appetites.

Come for the craft, stay for the simple pleasure of good pizza done right. Reserve a table, share a slice, and let the dough rise to the occasion.
