Koocha Mezze Bar

Koocha Mezze Bar brings a fresh burst of Persian, plant-based cooking to Bishopston. After learning her craft in her father’s kitchen, creator and head chef Noda Marvani has taken the reins to shape a first-of-its-kind venture for the southwest, honouring heritage while pushing forward. The result is confident, contemporary food that nods to tradition and invites convivial, plate-sharing moments.

Recipes handed down through generations are lovingly rebooted for modern palates. A bowl of ghoormeh sabzi arrives herb-laden with kidney beans and fenugreek; whipped feta and cucumber is cool and cloud-light. To open, there are playful bites such as sumac-glazed mixed nuts and parvardeh olives, each carrying that bright, tangy whisper of Persia.
