In the heart of Kemptown, MEO Brighton is a sunlit haven for all-day brunch and easy-going neighbourhood charm.

The kitchen champions fresh, local produce and a playful, plant-forward spirit, serving thoughtful vegan and vegetarian choices alongside familiar comforts. It is the sort of place where organic coffee arrives with a smile, and both laptops and four-legged friends are warmly welcomed.

On the plate, brunch classics come with quietly confident twists. There are billowing buttermilk pancakes that balance indulgence and freshness, and Mediterranean flourishes such as Turkish eggs and shakshuka layered with bright, aromatic notes, beetroot hummus and tangy finishes. Egg lovers can linger over eggs benedict or eggs Royale, their hollandaise rich and glossy, perched on proper English muffins, with the occasional manchego or avocado flourish to keep things interesting.

Lighter appetites are well served with vibrant bowls and crisp, colourful assemblies, while homemade chillies and stacked sandwiches bring a comforting, all-day rhythm. As evening falls from Thursday to Sunday, the café shifts gear, dishing up authentic Mexican plates, the room humming with that convivial Kemptown buzz.

Cosy, friendly and quietly creative, MEO Brighton feels like a place to make a habit of. Drop in for brunch, stay for supper, and let the day wander deliciously by.
