Bife brings the theatre of Argentine asado to Haywards Heath, shaped by a story that spans London’s spark and Alicante’s sun. Born from a love of fire, hospitality and celebration, it champions the grill as a place to gather, toast the moment and let rhythm set the tone.

On the coals, prime cuts take centre stage, from tender churrasco to juicy ribeye, kissed by smoke and lifted with house chimichurri. The experience often begins with a warm bread basket and stilton butter, or grilled chorizo sausage tucked into homemade bread, setting a generous and relaxed pace.

Empanadas arrive golden and fragrant, while crisp-crumbed milanesas offer comfort in both classic and napolitana styles. Sides keep things lively with garlicky provençal fries, alongside indulgent peppercorn sauce, before finishing with pancakes topped with dulce de leche and ice cream.

The atmosphere is warm, the welcome heartfelt and the pace delightfully unhurried. Bife invites guests to gather their crew, follow the smoke and let the embers do the talking.
