Situated next to Birmingham's famous canals, Noel's Bar & Restaurant offers a slice of the Mediterranean in the heart of the city. With its sun-drenched décor and warm hospitality, it evokes the feeling of a European holiday. The menu centres around inspired Mediterranean cuisine, using a charcoal-fired grill to ensure maximum flavour in every dish.

Seafood lovers will find plenty to delight in. It begins with pan-fried tiger prawns, sizzling in garlic butter, chilli and white wine, accompanied by house-made bread to soak up every last drop. For the main event, the grilled whole sea bass truly shines—served with a crisp mixed salad and vibrant chimichurri, and optionally filleted at the table for a bit of theatrical flair.

For meatier appetites, the 28-day aged Aberdeen Angus fillet steak is a clear favourite. Cooked to perfection, it’s served with creamed spinach and roasted carrots. Guests can elevate it further with a choice of peppercorn or chimichurri sauce, plus a generous helping of crisp chipped potatoes.

End the evening on a sweet note with a decadent dessert menu. The apricot mille-feuille, layered with apricot and lime cream and a zesty compôte, is pure delight. For those who love to linger, rich hot chocolate, dessert wines, or a freshly brewed espresso or macchiato offer a final flourish worth savouring.
