All the traditional glamour of The Queens Arms with modern, vegetarian and vegan eats provided by Notty Bites, the saying 'best of both worlds' comes to mind. Welcome to the most delightful collaboration yet to grace the Jewellery Quarter.

Anyone who knows this part of town will know the imposing redbrick building that occupies one of its most iconic corners. Indeed The Queens Arms presides over Newall Street, magnificent in its appearance and impressive history. Inside, the original features remain. A cheery magenta bar greets diners, promising a quintessentially British dining experience, offering bar and bistro seating that is (more often than not) adorned with British bunting from the ceiling. Proud Brits they certainly are, and that only makes this beautiful pub more charming.

And unlike some pubs, Notty Bites are serving up a fresh take on vegan and vegetarian fusion food. Inspired by Indian, Mexican and American cuisines, the menu is a feast for the omnivores and opens meat-eaters eyes to the delicious possibilities of meat-free plates. From Mexico come the dirty nachos with curried vegetable chilli and the Bombay Bhai quesadilla that marries Indian and Mexican flavours with aplomb.

Now for some East meets West yums! Introducing you to the Bombay Bhai burger that encases a curried cauliflower patty, the Bangkok Beach burger with a white bean and coconut patty, and the beer-battered bhajis that are always good to have on standby. Make it a feast to remember with some fries, cheesy nachos or mac n' cheese bites on the side and wash it down with a pint from the bar. A traditional pub it might seem, but The Queens Arms has plenty of surprises up its sleeve and Notty Bites is its headline act.
