Unforgettable Pizza has two secret ingredients that might come as a bit of a surprise. Luckily, Smoke + Ash has got it spot on.

Indeed, this restaurant wears these ingredients like a badge of pride, going as far as honouring them in their name! They're located in what looks like a regular terraced house, but engage your nose and you'll know that some culinary magic is happening behind those doors. Inside, it's homey, bright, and informal with a contemporary twist on the traditional bistro.

So let's get straight to the meat of the matter with their legendary pizzas that no one in Birmingham can stop talking about. Atop irresistibly thin and super light bases (dough made fresh each day on site) you'll find Napoli salami, pancetta, nduja sausage, taleggio, and lashings of fresh tomato sauce and fior di latte. As for the white pizzas, double cream bases host goat's cheese, gorgonzola, and lamb, making for a delicious alternative that very much allows the main characters to shine.

And whilst the craft of fine pizza might be in their name, they also take dolci very seriously and are serving up the most authentic creations like cannoli, tiramisu and affogato, as well as truly unique offerings like jammie dodger ice cream. You heard right; Britain's favourite biscuit just got a summer makeover and we can't move for excitement.
