Tucked into Brindleyplace, Lulu Wild invites diners to forget the outside world and slip into a magical culinary adventure.

Here, Chinese tradition meets modern flair, with an à la carte journey that nods to history while flirting with the contemporary. Seductive cocktails set the tone, and the mood is one of escape, indulgence, and a touch of theatre in the heart of Birmingham.

Dim sum leads the way, from steamed baskets of XO prawn and crystal vegetable dumplings to pan-fried favourites like Shanghai pork and chive. Soft bao buns arrive billowing with flavour, whether it’s BBQ belly pork or duck and hoisin tucked into beetroot-infused bao with a lick of chilli and garlic.

Small plates keep the tempo lively: think firecracker squid and crispy chilli wings, balanced by crisp, bright salads such as bang bang chicken or a watercress medley with duck, dragon fruit, and pine nuts. Seafood steals the spotlight too, with black cod scented with miso and mirin, and Singapore chilli king prawns bringing heat and verve.

It’s a spirited, stylish dining room where classic techniques meet playful twists , designed for lingering conversations and a little escapism. Book a table, raise a glass, and let Lulu lead you somewhere delicious. Go on, get a little wild.
