Overview

The only thing to mourn at Mourne Seafood Bar is that it didn't open sooner. It only opened its doors in January, but this eatery is off to a swimming start!
We don't need to tell you that this is an absolute hotspot for seafood lovers everywhere. But what makes this eatery stand out among the rest is their shellfish, namely that they source it all from their own shellfish beds; can't get more local than that! And inside, it's a communal hub with a casual dining setup and friendly staff who really know their stuff.
Come out of your shell and approach the shellfish bar for some pre-dinner nibbles. A wise man once said, 'nothing eases you into a meal quite like oysters' (true story). Will you go au natural, Indian or Japanese? Alternatively, order in some Mourne mussels that come with a white wine and garlic cream. Good job it comes with a crusty roll so you can soak up every last drop of garlicky deliciousness. Maybe keep your distance from other folk, but that's a price you'll be willing to pay.
And after you've gorged on some creamy seafood chowder or some of their Persian fishcakes, it's time to tackle some of their pasta dishes. You've never tasted seafood linguine like it and as you can imagine, their fish and chips are out of this world. And with mindblowing fillets of hake, seabass and salmon on offer, you're sure to name this you favourite seafood joint in Belfast!
