dinner

In a beautifully restored Grade II listed building, a stone's throw from Bath, is Halfpenny. They serve up delicious evening tapas options, plus an extensive drinks menu with specialty cocktails, wines and even more (delicious!) coffees and teas. Here is a true catch-all venue located in the charming village of Widcombe, right next to the railway station.

The atmosphere is one that oozes comfort and relaxation, where almost anything goes. For those chilly winter mornings, the three-story townhouse is what cosy dreams are made of. Snuggle into a corner on the comfy sofas or pull up a chair more formally in the main room. Tables are perfect for a leisurely drink or perhaps even settling in for a family or corporate gathering.

Settle in for some authentic tapas dishes such as chorizo in red wine - a classic Spanish take on the delicacy that won't let you down. Otherwise, there are the chilli garlic prawns that pack a punch - tactile dining at its best. There is also an extensive drinks list on offer with everything from a classic Coke to a Blackthorn Cider, from a latte to a Negroni.
