Robun

Celebrating the art of Asian cooking, Robun is rooted in Japanese cooking but unbound by borders. Inspired by Kanagaki Robun, the Japanese author, journalist and cultural commentator from whom they take their name, the menu brings together the flavours, techniques and influences of Japan and the wider Asian continent, reimagined with a distinctly modern spirit.

Robun makes its home within one of Bath's beautiful Georgian buildings. Ornate ceilings and hand-drawn Japanese artwork meet contemporary furnishings and atmospheric lighting, creating a space that feels sophisticated, immersive and unmistakably Robun.

The menu is curated around the spirit of sharing. Rather than following the traditional starter-main format, Robun encourages you to order a variety of dishes for the table, served from their kitchen the moment they’re ready. Begin wherever takes your fancy: from sashimi and nigiri, signature maki rolls or small plates of chicken gyoza, dynamite prawns, Korean fried chicken and bao buns.

Japanese favourites such as salmon teriyaki and miso-glazed black cod sit alongside Korean-inspired beef bulgogi and lamb cutlets or classic kimchi BBQ Sliders and vegetable chow mein. Add kimchi fried rice, Asian slaw or vegetable kakiage to share, and let your table become celebration of flavours from across the continent.
