We had a very tasty dinner at the Ponte Vecchio, while visiting Bath, and use the special offer with FirstTable - we were welcomed by the attentive waiter Tez, and his wine recommendation was spot on. We had specials - lamb and sea bass - well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I will definitely recommend this restaurant!

Food and service were perfect, they couldn’t have done more for us. Will definitely be visiting again. Also a beautiful view of the weir if you sit at a table on the terrace.

Lovely building and great location by the weir side.
The service was fantastic, nothing was any trouble. We wanted to sit out on the balcony upstairs even though the tables there hadn't been set up but this was no problem. Also same when we had to move our stuff inside quickly because of the wasp that took an interest in our food. The waiter helped us with everything.
Food was delicious, really tasty brushetta and the tiramisu portion was what finished us both off. It was big but homemade and delicious.
Saw one guy just pop in for bread, olives and a drink and again they had no issues with this.
Very laid back and pleasant.
Not sure if different on a busier evening but would definitely be happy to go back and find out.

the food and the service were exceptional. The restaurant needs to be re-designed, didn't like much the ambience, old Italian songs, the volume was too high, the kitchen doesn't have any window to be separated from the restaurant area and the cooks are too noisy.

It was wonderful. Our experience at Ponte Vecchio didn’t started off quite well. Service was quite slow considering we were the first two customers to be served. However, the waiter was really friendly. The food was amazing, seafood was fresh and the food was well-seasoned. I guess the restaurant just opened so the kitchen wasn’t that ready yet. But the food really compensated it and we would definitely come back again. Worth mentioning is the Spaghetti Scolio, they used fresh pasta so that’s something that we really loved. And their tomato sauce for the pasta was the star!
