Discover outstanding Greek food in a beautiful riverfront location…

Proud to support a vast network of local producers and winemakers, Opa offers a menu that celebrates outstanding ingredients and traditional Greek recipes.

Their kitchen is passionate in serving a rich and varied cuisine, and regularly changes the menu to reflect the unique tastes of the Greek islands. Famous for their meze, enjoy the time-old tradition of sharing good food together, and choose from a selection of silky dips, skewered meats and marinated vegetables.

For your main course, discover melt-in-the-mouth meats, like the Welsh lamb shank, or from the grill, try a succulent chicken souvlaki. They also offer gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes (like the signature aubergine moussaka), please ask at the restaurant or when booking.

Locally known as one of Bath’s hidden culinary gems, Opa Bar & Restaurant is a must visit. Located on the riverfront, Duke Street.

I met up with a friend I haven’t seen in over 6months and we had an amazing time! We were welcomed so warmly by our lovely waiter. We didn’t have to worry long for our drinks and even better our food which was incredible! I will 100% be visiting again, the whole experience was lovely! Thank you Opa!

If you love Greek food or want to try something a bit different, I would 100% recommend going to Opa! We love going to Greece on holiday and the ambience of the restaurant makes you feel like you have stepped into Greece for the evening. The food is delicious but the staff really make the night - they are welcoming and engaging, and were happy to recommend dishes when we were having difficulty deciding. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful restaurant to go to. Food was nice, service was slow to start but eventually picked up! Note that the menu for First Table customers is a limited menu.

Food and atmosphere were great. One thing to be aware of is that the First table discount only applies to a special offer menu, not their full menu.

It was our first FirstTable experience and first time at the Opa too. The food was brilliant - my partner, who is a Michelin starred chef, ordered probably half of the menu for the two of us and all of the dishes were wonderful. The food was really delicious, clearly home-made style without any unnecessary show elements. Good service and hearty, comfort meals - will do it again for sure. Cheese trilogy, sausage and beef stew were the best - but portions are generous so don’t go overboard unless you’re a chef of course and like sampling it all! :)

Lovely food and great service. It’s in a very good location too. Although it seems a bit strange to go downstairs into the dark basement it opens out into a lovely bright space. We actually felt like we were on holiday. Make sure you get the trilogy of cheeses as it was so tasty. I had the vegetarian Moussaka and my partner had the orzo dish- both were very filling and tasty. The wine was also very nice and we really appreciated the complimentary bread and drink to finish the meal. Thank you!

We had a fantastic waiter who looked after us very well and was happy for ya to eat in the bar area which was great. Tasty food and great maze selection.

The restaurant is lovely. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. There's lots of variety on the menu, we tried 6 separate dishes from the meze selection and everything was very tasty.

Fantastic food, great selection of Meze & friendly staff. A lovely touch was the chef sending more sauce after we complimented him on it. We’ll definitely be back!
