Set in the heart of Bath city centre, Prezzo Italian Bath brings a bright, easygoing slice of Italy to the neighbourhood. The setting is convivial and family-friendly, the sort of place for impromptu suppers and catch-ups, yet smart enough for date nights and small celebrations.

On the menu, Italian comfort takes centre stage: think warm focaccia for tearing and sharing, tomato bruschetta under a basil glaze, and hot honey mozzarella sticks with a marinara dip. Pizzas stay classic with margherita and pepperoni, while pastas range from silky spaghetti carbonara to lively arrabbiata. There is room, too, for folded calzones and a line-up from the grill, broadening the appeal from little diners to grown-up appetites. Vegan and gluten-free options keep everyone at the table.

For something lighter, salads such as goat’s cheese and roasted peppers or chicken, bacon and avocado hit a fresh note, before a sweet finish of tiramisu or chocolate fudge cake. Espresso rounds things off, or a steaming hot chocolate when the mood calls. Guests can gather the gang, take a seat, and let the conversation and the mozzarella stretch; an easy Italian escape in the centre of Bath awaits.
