Forget the BBQs of BBQs past; the braai is a whole different beast. First and foremost, all the meat, fish and veggies are cooked in a wood-fired barbecue which gives your food an intense, smoky flavour. Needless to say, this establishment is all about the joy of community and the love of good food.
Decked out with old-school oak furnishings and wooden panelled walls, this restaurant is reminiscent of an old library and golly gosh, it's cosy! All that's left to do it create your own personal braai.
First things first, choose the main event, like a flat iron steak, lamb chop or pork ribs, then pair it with some sides. Choose from the Cape Malay curry, sweet potato mac and cheese or some prawn skewers. Finish it off with some greens and there you have it; your braai, your style.
