Cuisine: Chinese, Dim Sum, International
Price Point: Mains from £10-£20

Handmade dim sum and carefully crafted cocktails in the heart of London. This is China – the Ping Pong way.

From brunching to lunching, late-night suppers and cocktail happy hours – taste the East in this vibrant dim sum restaurant. On its walls are gleaming scales that create beautiful, Chinese patterns while flower bowers ascend over every door. Find yourself a booth or a stool and unwind in this cosy eatery.

When it comes to dim sum, the sky's the limit, so play around and get a bit of everything. In the crispy team are the honey glazed ribs and duck spring rolls. The dumplings and buns come in all shapes, sizes and fillings, from pork and prawn shumai to beef and kimchi gyoza. There is also a range of soups and fresh salads that will get the taste buds dancing.

Perfection doesn’t stop there...check out the exquisite cocktails, like the Hong Kong Colada or 47 Drunken Monkeys. It’s lethal.

As we got there the staff was super nice in letting us chose the table. We asked questions about the dishes and got recommended some really good options. We opted for getting a couple big plates and 7 dim sum across 3 of us and it left us pretty full. We were glad we went at this early time as we could enjoy some quiet time to chat, after an hour the place got busier but still with a nice atmosphere. We stayed on the table for almost two hours and nobody pressured us for the bill. Very good service and food, would definitely recommend for a sharing dinner with friends in the lively street that is St. Christopher.

Ping Pong is a well established chain so when my 7 year old asked to go out for dumplings for her birthday dinner, I knew where we should go. The position is great as it’s Central but not on the main shopping strip so still feels cosy. The food was great and was served quickly - the set menu was good value and we also ordered back buns, dumplings and the curried rice. The Har Gow was our favourite dumpling. It can get pricey but with First Table we could relax and order exactly what we wanted. We sat upstairs which is quite small but there was also a downstairs that we will try next time. Although the clientele is more after work business type people, we felt relaxed and welcomed with our two children. Thanks First Table!

Welcome service. Smily and nice waitresses.
Wine was good.
The food was nothing special to me. Disappointed by the Duck buns. Dim Sum were ok but overall lack of flavor in each dish we had.

You can always count on Ping Pong for delicious dumplings! The staff were great in accommodating our party as well as a rather large buggy! Crispy Prawn Bao is a fantastic addition to the menu and oh so delicious!

Very average, tried to hard to do unique flavours and fusion when really it needed the straight dim sum classics!

Arrived on time and seated straight away. Explanation of ordering was well informative. Only one server was on duty at the time and poor girl was somewhat rushed of her feet, but she coped very well. The food came in good time and when it did come it was well nice. My first visit.

The restaurant is nice and the staff was helpful but not quite in time some times. The food was good but far from excellent.

Lovely dining experience. Me and my mum shared 7 dishes and they came out quickly (one after the other). The staff was very attentive. Will definitely go back again!

Ping Pong always has great food. It’s a nice change to be in one of their smaller and quieter restaurants.

Great food and great service!
Booked through First Table for 6pm but got there a bit earlier as they have happy hour until 6pm. We ordered our cocktails and 2 x bottles of wine for the table before happy hour was up. The waiter said he would keep the wine cold until we had finished our cocktails, which was amazing!
Overall amazing night.
Highly recommend dining here, thanks for a pleasant night!
