Claudiu was great serving me as our main waiter. We had other waiters also coming to our table (a lady with a suit on and another man who took our jackets, 22/02, 19:00). We were informed about some of the dishes when I asked what they were, were given some recommendations and we were able to order starters, choose mains after, then order desserts after that, without any rush whatsoever. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived but started to fill up at around 8pm, however it was never full completely which was really nice. The seats at the restaurant were really big and comfortable which was an added touch, and we sat by the window and could just about see Marble Arfh, a bonus. The gnocchi I had was soft and had the right balance of flavour, and the sticky toffee dessert was out of this world. It had a caramel hard shell with cold salted caramel ice cream inside, it was recommended by the lady. Overall a lovely experience. Would recommend.

Whilst quiet at 7 on a Monday evening it was still a pleasurable and enjoyable meal.
Served with friendly ablomp and interactivity the inter communication was very good
The food itself was mouthwatering and would definitely entice me back.

What a lovely meal! This was my first First Table booking and definitely will not be my last! The waitress who greeted us was so friendly and smiley and took us to a table by the window with plush, comfortable seating. The restaurant was not over-busy so we could have a nice quiet conversation without having to shout at each other over loud background noise.
We ordered two bottles of wine; one white and one red which were served by a very charming sommelier. Both were delicious.
And the food was unbelievable! I started with the oysters which were served on a bed of ice and the other 3 on the table went for scallops - which were also cooked exceptionally well. For mains, two of us had steak, one of us had duck and I had a delicious Tuna steak. All were plated beautifully, Michelin-star standard, and everyone was delighted with the taste of their dish.
We ended our meal with puddings, again these were just delicious and went down a treat. And all the while we had the same waitress looking after us throughout who couldn't be more friendly and helpful.
And, the best part of all of this, we had exceptional service and high class food and the bill at the end was only £45 per head... for a 3 course meal and 2 bottles of lovely wine. Thank you First Table, I am now an addict to your website!

The restaurant was a lovely quiet setting, we were very comfortable. Staff were very attentive throughout the meal. The food was lovely. We had the sea bass and the pork belly for mains, both were delicious.

My friends and i had a fantastic meal at Lanes of London. The menu here is fantastic and varied, with plenty of vegetarian options as well as the favourite meat staples.

The service here is amazing, the staff were so warm and attentive. On a quiet Monday evening, the staff still made a fuss and looked after us. It really made our night.

The food was fabulous, the service was amazing. They went out of their way to ensure I could have an enjoyable time with my special medical diet and I therefore didn’t feel left out. Highly recommended!
