'When you cook it should be an act of love’ - the brainchild of a certain Mr Raymond Blanc, his range of brasseries are always a sight for sore eyes. After all, mon chéri, this is food worth writing home about.

Serving up the perfect portion of elegant French chic, Brasserie Blanc boasts that modern glamour that always has diners wanting more. Over in Threadneedle Street, an airy and open dining room sets the perfect scene for a relaxed and elegant supper. Indigoes, woods and creams work wonderfully to create a free-spirited, vacation feel whilst glistening glassware and impeccable service keep it grounded in traditional French dining. And with a spotless alfresco area, feel free to watch passers-by over your first glass of rouge.

When it comes to the food, classic French cuisine is given the international treatment with influences from Africa, Asia and beyond. Experience gastronomy at its finest with the likes of potted Cornish crab, a gooey baked Saint Marcellin, an intense Mediterranean fish soup and a magnificent Moroccan mezze platter for starters.

For mains, local produce really comes into play. Prime Cornish chargrilled steaks lead the way whilst the west country offers up a rump of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and Loch Fyne salon is complemented by a ‘choron’ sauce and French fries. Vegetarians are at liberty to graze on jackfruit fritters or the pea and goats cheese salad whilst the award-winning cellar is a treat for everyone.

The pièce de resistance of dining in central London, allow yourself to fall head over heels for Brasserie Blanc.
