From the moment we arrived the service was just excellent, as they offered a cloakroom service and hung up our coats and took our wet brollys to leave at the front of the restaurant. The interior was lovely, super swish and modern, and there was an aroma of incense throughout. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant and it wasn't long before it was full, with a great lively atmosphere, but despite them being busy the service was incredibe - friendly and attentive and they were always there when we needed them. Food was fab, we had popadoms and pickle tray, mixed platter, and the lal maas (spicy lamb curry) was a great recommendation! Will be recommending and returning soon for sure!

Tonight we decided to try some Indian seafood dishes and headed to Anokha. The restaurant is in a huge basement, and is very elegantly decorated throughout, classic Indian style decor with textures and lighting, with a chill out mood. Upon arrival we were most impressed with the staff who seemed to go out of their way to ensure we have a great time and were very courteous. Food-wise the Jhinga Malabar king prawn dish is rather delicious although a touch sweet. The coconut comes right through in that creamy sauce however, and we also loved the prawns - they were huge and fresh. The Monkfish Rogan was OK - the sauce was rich and flavoursome. There are plenty of other dishes I'd like to have tasted, so overall the restaurant definitely is worth a re-visit.
