Cuisine: Burgers, Street Food

Winner of The Best Street Food in Cardiff, tonight's dinner is a no brainer.

Informal food is best paired with a friendly, chilled restaurant and Bwydiful provides just that. With a playful, bright colour scheme of blue and orange, it's a fun hangout. Nestle down at one of their canteen-style tables! The window seats are the best - watch the world go by as you tuck into a juicy burger.

You better be hungry because you're in for a feast! Choose from their scrummy selection of beef burgers, all made with the finest Welsh beef. For those who want to play it safe, choose the Pure and Simple or regular cheese burger. The Medelicious, topped with lashings of halloumi and oozy pesto, or the Disco Inferno that comes with red-hot salsa for all the adventure seekers out there. Go one step further with the Hawaiian which comes with maple-cured bacon and cinnamon-coated pineapple. A flavour party or what!?

For drinks you've got a range of beers, lagers, wine and spirits sourced from independent Welsh companies. Whatever you pick, you'll be coming back time and again!

I can't rate Bwydiful highly enough. The manager greeted us warmly and was keen to explain everything on the menu, giving a justifiable sense of pride at the quality of ingredients and food. His enthusiasm was contagious and we tried a number of interesting options, all locally sourced and made from scratch. The burger was easily the best burger I've had in Cardiff and the thought of the dirty fries with Welsh rarebit is making me salivate as I write this. Would recommend to all. A perfect food experience.

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere on a chilly night. The staff were really friendly and welcomed us by name, knowing we had made a booking through first table. The food was hot, fresh and great quality. We had to sample some of the local beer and cider which also went down well. Meal was topped off with a totally indulgent warm chocolate orange brownie and ice cream. Loved the fact the ingredients were locally sourced and cooked to perfection.
As a bonus they also do take away!

Really good quality burgers, excellent attentive service and good beer - what more could you want!

Incredible burgers and at an even better price thanks to first table! We had the two specials, one of which was sold to us as being described recently by a good critic as 'what the big Mac should be' and wow it was good. Will definitely go back again. Great, friendly service and delicious food.

Really nice burgers and flavour combinations. The halloumi fries with the pesto drizzle and chilli jam were amazing and I really didn’t think pesto would have gone well but it did. The staff were very friendly and attentive and honoured our first table discount when the 4th member of our party was late which was really appreciated.

Simple ambience, Super burgers, loved the hash browns. Real street food vibe. Friendly service, helpful suggestions. The locally produced Penylan chilli jam was a yummie accompaniment to the Halloumi starter.
