What started out as a popular sausage bar in Shoreditch, London, Pigsty has become a permanent fixture in the city’s dining scene.

Brought to you by the three Kohn brothers who founded The Jolly Hog, and their friend Will Collier, Pigsty offers a vibrant and fuss-free dining experience.

The menu is a temple to all things pork, offering sausage rolls and scotch eggs, as well as burgers and buns stuffed with roast pork belly, pork shoulder and sausages. All pork is ethically sourced from an outdoor breeding farm in Devizes.

They also offer vegetarian options, including the vegan ‘Pig Shy’ burger, packed with layers of crispy aubergine and bbq pulled jackfruit.

Be sure to wash your dinner down with a pint of their own craft beer or local cider! Situated on the historic site of a Victorian butcher, Pigsty will become your new dining spot in Bristol.

Great service - they really care... which showed! Nice food and great ambiance

As a huge foodie I had already visited the Pigsty cargo container over at whapping wharf and I loved it. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that they had opened another restaurant on Gloucester Road! Since we booked through First Table, we dined early on a Sunday evening. This meant that the restaurant was quite quiet but that worked in our favour! Our waiter was attentive and informative about the couple of items that were sold out before we made our decisions to save any disappointment. We ordered the pig board to share between two and swapped the sold out hogettes for a vegetarian scotch egg. It was honestly to die for... think rich mushroom arancini ball with the delicious addition of a runny yolk!
The rest of the board featured pork in as many ways as you can imagine. The pulled pork and the duo of scotch eggs were my personal favourites for sure!
I definitely recommend dining at the Pigsty.
