A traditional at heart yet modem in its approach, family-owned British restaurant, set in the heart of Birmingham, Craft serves up seasonal British classics with a twist. The interior combining brushed concrete with floral furnishings, comfortable suede seating and dynamic table wear, and a progressive bar offering.

Led by hospitality entrepreneurs Emma Morgan, Sam Morgan, Aktar Islam (1 Michelin star – Opheem) and groundbreaking Chef Andrew Sheridan, one of the most innovative and ambitious young chefs in the country. He rose to attention as North West Chef of the Year (2011) and a semi-finalist in BBC Young Chef of the Year (2005). Andy featured as Guest Chef at Tom Kerridge Pub in the Park in 2019 and his appearances on BBC Great British Menu in 2018 and 2019 where he was branded the ‘maverick chef’ for his unusual and creative approach.

Andy is joined by critically acclaimed local pastry chef Howing Lai and a further brigade of 5 creating traditional British food with 20th-century techniques and Imagination, expect and taste the unexpected and dine with childhood nostalgia and memories in mind.

Craft is a place for enjoying a relaxed meal with friends, colleagues or family, from amazingly crafted pies to their famous signature dishes all of which are served up alongside their 100% English Beverage Collection by their friendly team who always set out to exceed expectations.

First time using First Table and when we got to the restaurant they didnt have our booking and weren’t open for the time we had booked! However, restaurant was very accommodating and we went out to an art gallery for half an hour until they were ready. It’s my third time dining at Craft and the food is lovely. Beautifully put together and tastes delicious. Fab selection of gins and some sublime tonics. I really like the restaurant and would definitely do First Table again
