Cuisine: British, Cocktail Bar, Grill
Price Point: Mains from £10-£30

Modern, meaty and meticulous, M Bar and Grill is all about home cooked food with a touch of class.

Situated on the bank of River Crane, it’s just a short walk from Twickenham station. Bag yourself a window seat and relax watching the fountain just meters away from the restaurant door. Their cosy dining area, complete with velvet chairs, low ceilings and dark furnishings make it an excellent date spot.

Build up to the hearty mains with some delicate tuna sashimi or a refreshing confit duck salad. By then you’ll ready to take on their juicy quarter pounder or slow-cooked pork shoulder. With all their beef sourced from a family butcher in Cornwall, their steaks are unbeatable! For something lighter, their whole grilled lemon sole is light and flavoursome.

And with 20 wines available by the glass, they’ll have you sorted with a good tipple too. For something jazzier, their cocktails are beautiful in taste and appearance.

Reviews

M Bar and Grill is housed in a newish building and with a sensible layout, the bar near entrance and then dining area around the corner. We had a nice booth table. The service was very friendly and attentive, certainly one of the best experiences we have had in London. The food was good and as expected. Overall a very pleasing experience in a place with a good vibe (background music) and a 'classy' feel to it.

First of all, I have to thank the waitress that looked after us - she was very attentive, recommended great food and made the experience great.
Now the food - fantastic Sunday roast! We had two Beef Sunday roasts (was hoping for the Wagyu, but that wasn't available). The beef was tender and delicious, potatoes and vegetables cooked to perfection, gravy slightly runny but tasted great and the icing on the cake - truffle cauliflower cheese - to die for!
We also had the caramel mousse pudding - my husband wasn't a fan, but I love it - a mix of caramel, chocolate ice cream, coconut and coffee.

Overall, great experience and will come back!
