A local restaurant with a groovy outside bar and diverse Asian plates, it’s no wonder Foley’s is such a hit.

Foley’s manages to expertly merge the bustling streets of fashionable Fitzrovia with its peaceful interior, all thanks to the friendly, street-side bar that meets you as you walk in. Step inside and it’s neutral and calming, with exposed brick walls, potted plants aplenty and cosy booths.

Expect modern Asian food with a twist. Start proceedings with a Ginger Calamari, some Duck Buns or a Wagyu Skewer. For mains, try something new with their Brisket Curry, Tamarind Duck or vegetarian Aubergine Black Bean dish with bamboo heart and tofu that’ll leave those taste buds wanting more. For something more delicate, the Grilled Seabream is fresh as can be whilst the classic Pad Thai is always a crowd-pleaser.

Polish it off with one of their signature cocktails, like a Big Panda which is as bold as it sounds, or try the Tommy Tam Spiced Margarita perfect for tequila lovers everywhere! Alternatively, there’s a great wine list to peruse.

So happy we found this hidden gem via First Table. We went for lunch on a Saturday and were met by a friendly front of house, which set the scene for an amazingly delicious meal! Loads of options to start, but we went with for the Ginger Calamari and Duck Baos. Both were AMAZING and seasoned perfectly. For mains we shared the Tamarind Duck and Prawn Nasi goreng. Again, both were fantastic with the Duck being 10/10! We were full, but couldn't resist trying a dessert so shared the Chocolate Truffles - bliss!! Do yourself a favour and book this First Table for a date or catch up with mates. New Fitzrovia favourite and we'll be going back soon!

Really excellent meal. The ginger calamari and tamarind duck were both exceptional (the calamari especially so). Very lovely restaurant with great warm service and excellent food, could not recommend highly enough!

Fantastic little place. Nestled in slightly away from the busy evening foot traffic. Not full but plenty of tables taken. Menu has plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We shared a selection of small plates and salads then each went for a main. All options very tasty. Service was friendly and full prices were reasonable for what you got. I appreciate the opportunity to order a carafe (500ml) of wine to share for 2. Just need to convince restaurants to start stocking half bottles for individuals!

Sunday evening dinner between 3 - taking advantage of the deal meant we could try almost all the small plates between us as well as a couple of larger dishes.
Every dish was tasty, with personal highlights being the rock shrimp tempura, an excellent som tam, mushroom buns and sea bream isaan style, which was so moist and everyone's favourite.
Thoroughly recommended, we will be back

It's my second time at Foley's and I just love it! Amazing food and such good value. Service is attentive and the atmosphere is perfect for a date or catch up with friends as the music in the background is pleasant and discreet

I would highly recommend Foley's! The service was wonderful and our waitress gave us comprehensive advice when we asked what she would recommend. They've got balance of flavours right at this place. Favourite dishes were ginger calamari, vegetable gyoza and somtam. Definitely try the mango sticky rice for dessert - great use of texture as well as being delicious.

This was our first time at Foley's and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The interior is an intimate space but with ample room within seating areas. Our food lived up to the pretty interior too, it was delicious! Highly recommend the Pad Thai and Laksa soup. Staff were very knowledgable about the menu and didn't fuss over us too much. Foley's is a real gem in the heart of town!

Was a perfect evening at Foley’s - attentive service and delicious food. The “early” booking allowed us ample time to catch a musical after our dinner. You also get cash back through the Tail app at Foley’s! Will be going back soon :)

Wonderful experience at Foley's from the moment we walked in! The restaurant has a trendy relaxed vibe and staff were friendly and attentive.
We went with most of the waiters recommendations and for two hungry souls we ordered the; prawn crackers, duck buns, shrimp tempura, ginger calamari (standout dish), salmon tartare, duck curry and coconut rice. We finished with an Asian Garden cocktail and a mango rice. Do yourself a favour and save some room for the mango rice, it is worth it!

Was looking forward to this visit an opportunity to catch up with friends over some good food. Had looked at the menu in advance and checked out the Instagram photos so the expectations were high.
On arrival I was greeted promptly and one of my friends was already seated.
Ordered a Negroni and was pleasantly surprised. When my friends arrived and all drinks were ordered the service was quick and the cocktails were really good.
We ordered almost all the starters and they were all really good, the standout dish for me would be the Duck Buns and the Calamari.
For mains I had the Brisket Curry, It could have been spicier for my taste but I still finished the whole bowl.
We were all so full having over done it on the starters that we skipped dessert.
From start to finish I could not fault the service or the food.

Perfect, everything about Foleys was delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, we had veggie gyoza and aromatic duck buns....YUM! Then green chicken curry, red brisket curry and coconut nice....DELICIOUS!! Accompanied with Hendricks gin and tonic and cocktails....SUPERB!!!

GINGER CALAMARI GAME CHANGER!
My husband and I went here for a date night and is was delicious. We love this little restaurants atmosphere and decor. Foley’s ‘Bits & Bobs’ part of the menu is yummy, especially the ginger calamari - it is a total game changer in our seafood world. We had the duck curry and the grilled sea bream for mains with two awesome salads somtam and yampak, all washed down with a beautiful glass of white wine. Devine!

- dined at Foley's on

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!
Perfect setting for our date night with very friendly service and amazing food. We ordered a few items from the Bits & Bobs section of the menu and they were all incredible, especially the wagyu skewer and rock shrimp tempura!! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the items from the Bits & Bobs menu. Highly recommend a visit to Foley's and can't wait to visit again!

- dined at Foley's on

What a fabulous dining experience! I do love sharing food and trying lots of things - the 'Bits and Bobs' part of the menu is to die for - a real explosion of flavours that leave you wanting more! Loved the crab fried rice and tamarind duck - a real treat to have something a bit different! Staff are just gorgeous to - going out of their way to make it a meal to remember! Last bit not least I can't not mention the cocktails - the Mad Khan had us mad for more and the Bloody Mary was made extra spicy just how I like it at my request! Fresh and yum! Will be back soon!

This was our First time using First table to make our booking and it was a fabulous First experience! We picked Foley’s because of their varied menu with well labelled vegan, GF & NF options. The wait staff were well informed and able to talk us through the menu and help with our queries. The yampak salad was an absolute highlight for me - a lovely balance of flavours and delightfully fresh! Thank you Foley team - we’ll be back for sure!

- dined at Foley's on

What an experience!!!
Absolutely everything we ordered was tasty and the cocktails we're lovely to.
We ordered the calamari, match stick wings and tempura prawns for starter and crab rice, nasi goreng and tamarind such for mains all absolutely sensational.. So much so I went downstairs to thank the chefs!!
P.s if your waiter tell you he thinks the food will be too much when you put the order through.. Believe him!

- dined at Foley's on

110% recommend having a meal at Foley’s! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and the food was amazing. My personal favourite was the prawn pomelo starter. It might actually be my favourite starter of all time. The brisket curry was also delicious with just the right amount of spice and meat so tender that it basically fell apart. We also loved the atmosphere at Foley’s which was welcoming and casual, but trendy. Can’t wait to go back!

What a find! The best quality tasty food, fab décor that really adds to the mood and great service. We would never have thought to try Foley's had it not been for First Table but it's introduced us to a new gem and we'll definitely be back soon! Loved it :)

Our party of 4 were celebrating two birthdays! We had excellent service from delicious recommendations for food to an array of classic cocktails with a twist.

The starters ‘bits and bobs’ had the obvious panko prawns etc, but what was a little treat and something we never had or heard of before was the Shiso leaf wraps called Prawn Pomela and they are a MUST HAVE! Ginger calamari and green papaya salad was very good too!

For mains between us we had chicken pad Thai, brisket curry, sea bream (excellent!) and the tamarind duck (my fav!)- all brilliant!

I wouldn’t feel obliged to order desserts, but defo the dessert cocktails! Virgin cocktails were also brilliant. Here’s a snap of our negroni with sake, and other cocktails, oh and of course the prawn pomela.

What a little gem in Fitzrovia with great decor and outside seating. Defo will be back! Thanks to all!

Great food - the best Asian food we've had since leaving Australia! Easy menu, not too many choices and everything we had was delicious. Large portions and I struggled to finish but I managed it! Great laksa, great pad thai, AMAZING duck buns. Wanted to try everything! Great service as well. Attentive without being too much. Even let us have happy hour cocktails at lunchtime - and they were excellent. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Incredible Asian fusion food. The service was amazing, dishes were brought out so quickly. The flavours in the dishes were insane, there was not one dish we could fault. Our favourites were perhaps the ginger calamari and duck bao buns. This may be my new favourite London restaurant

The service was amazing. I unfortunately didn’t grab his name but he was very attentive and speedy, he made great recommendations and was just smiley and lovely. Food was amazing and a there a lovely mix of flavours. We were 3 people and shared about 8 dishes which was plenty but we finished it all! The mango salmon and aubergine miso were incredible. Definitely recommend!

Foleys was an amazing surprise. The food was incredible, soo tasty and the banana caramel dessert was hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Service was great and the waiters were soo attentive. Can’t wait to go back and already recommended them to all my friends!

Loved this place. It is modern and edgy and the perfect place to sample new tastes with my young nephew and teach him how to use chopsticks. Service was adorable. Can’t wait to come back.

Couldn't have had better service or more exciting food to eat. We had six small plates that ranged from wagyu gyoza to lemon octopus. Each was so pretty and flavorful. Definitely one of the most unique menus I've ever seen and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff was laidback, informed, and the cooks even invited me over to watch them prepare a beautiful mango salmon dish in the open plan kitchen in the lower level. Such a special night.

- dined at Foley's on

That was a lucky discovery! Lovely venue and very friendly staff. Got a few recommendations as needed a bit of help. We were 3 people and got to try 9 meals (more like tapas style). The first bite I took was miso aubergine that melted in my mouth, bees knees indeed! That was absolute fav of the menu. I also loved crab salad, tuna sashimi and salmon. But all food was amazing! Also banana cake - yum! Can’t recommend this place enough, I’ll be back soon!

We visited Foley's for a celebratory meal for 2 and felt thoroughly at home in this contemporary little restaurant in the heart of Fitzrovia.

We were greeted warmly and seated comfortably in an intimate nook near the back of the restaurant, surrounded by black leather, earthy tones and candle light.

The staff were very cool and warm, describing the Asian fusion menu to us and providing exactly the kind of culinary adventure we were seeking that night and we were delighted when the dishes were served with a unique Foley's twist, to which we will leave you to discover for yourself. We recommend the Tuna Sashimi and the Cod and Thai Basil as a must try.

My friend and I were blown away by the food at Foley's - it was the most unusual, most delicious Asian fusion food we have ever experienced. But the food is not the only great thing about this restaurant; the service was incredibly friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was buzzing and the décor (including the cutlery and crockery) was very chic.

We will definitely be returning!

- dined at Foley's on

We were floored by Foley's! The small plates really pack a punch flavour-wise. While sometimes small plates can leave you feeling a bit hungry or unsatisfied, it was very much the opposite at Foley's. Each dish was presented beautifully, tasted absolutely delicious, and was sizeable enough that you weren't left wanting. Our favourites were the pork skewers and the miso aubergine. We'll certainly be back soon!

Pleasant visit. We were dieting so no booze or desserts, therefore couldn't really go for it. The quietness suited us and we were nicely served, the waitress kindly asking the kitchen to share our laksa into two bowls and also checking ingredients so that our dietary requirements were taken into consideration. The food was generally good, I felt the salmon wasn't as fresh as it might have been. Very good value at half price.

I visited Foley's with my boyfriend. The restaurant had a lovely ambience and feel to it. There was a great selection of food for us both, with me being vegetarian we were both spoilt for choice. We both had cocktails which were different from your average Joe cocktails and tasted amazing. We shared the banana caramel dessert which we both agreed could be improved with more of the delicious caramel sauce, everything else was top notch and staff were very helpful and attentive.

What an amazing place! Dined with my best friend for a girly date night. Our waiter was informative and when they didnt have a cocktail we wanted, suggested another which was amazing! Food was so delicious. I cant pick a favourite! First time trying this restaurant, I'm local and hadnt been here. Will be back soon! Going to work my way through the cocktail list and menu!

Received a very warm welcome on arrival. The restaurant has a nice cosy ambience probably more suited to the autumn/winter nights vs spring/summer.

We had a choice of tables and were patiently taken through the menu.

We played it a little safe with the chicken satay and the ginger calamari for the starter. I’ll order the calamari again. It was absolutely delicious!

This was followed by the tender and flavoursome brisket curry for me and the prawn tom yam for my guest, which hit the spot on the cold and wet evening.

The wine list is very concise, however I enjoyed the organic tempranillo, would want to sample the orange wine next time.

All in all a very enjoyable reasonably priced evening, topped off by a very generous complimentary mulled wine! Will return.

Favourites of the bunch were the aubergine tofu (albeit a tiny bit salty), nasi goreng and the somtam which was deliciously sharp against the savoury spread. The mushroom buns were decent with nice soft baos (but maybe could be improved with tofu?!). The rest of the starters were nice too - both the prawns and shrimp were good but the dips made them much better.
