Cuisine: A La Carte, Irish, Modern European
Price Point: Mains from £20-£30

Located in glittering Chelsea, Myrtle is all about modern European cooking with a strong Irish influence.

With Head Chef Anna Haugh at the helm, you can be sure of absolute perfection. Having worked with industry heavyweights like Philip Howard, Shane Osborne and Gordon Ramsay, Myrtle is her first solo venture and it's making waves in London's dining scene. With its fine food and relaxed dining atmosphere, it's not hard to see why Myrtle is the name on everybody's lips.

The menu may be small, but every dish that leaves the kitchen is absolute perfection. Sample true innovation with their tasty starters. Keep it light with a carrot salad with Tete de Maine cheese or go for the pig's croquette if you fancy something really decadent. For mains, there's a roasted beef fillet with a warming tarragon and shallot jus as well as some incredible seafood, like the roasted salmon or oat crusted hake.

Such fine food deserves an equally fine bottle of wine and luckily for you, Myrtle has enough award-winning wines to sink an Irish pub..and that's saying something!

A welcome addition to the Chelsea restaurant scene.

In a beautifully designed, intimate space, Anna’s team make you feel looked-after, providing service to match the high standards of cooking here. The staff are clearly proud and passionate about the food and their work.

Dishes were all executed flawlessly; we particularly enjoyed the boxty (an Irish potato and bread dumpling) alongside a perfectly cooked but flavoursome fillet of beef, while the oat-crusted hake was as fresh as can be. My only regret is not having time to try dessert.

I wish Anna all the best for continued success.

We had a lovely evening. It was warm , relaxed and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed both food and wine. We felt very welcome and relaxed - it is calm and isn't at all noisy but , then again, you don't feel at all inhibited if you were to laugh out loud. We did.
It deserves to succeed - we hope it does.
