Cuisine: American, Cocktail Bar
Price Point: Mains from £10-£20

For mouth-watering fried chicken and waffle dishes, kooky cocktails and epic tunes, you can’t beat this vibey spot, which oozes its own brand of All-American cool.

The newest addition to Nelson Mandela Place, its hot pink bar, kitsch wallpaper and hip team make this the ideal place to catch up with friends or celebrate that special occasion.

While fried chicken is obviously the star of the show, the menu also includes wraps, burgers, salad bowls, loaded waffles and sides. Vegetarians and vegans are well-catered for with a selection of ‘birdless burgers’, while a dedicated kids menu makes this a fun choice for families.

Think you can handle the heat? Challenge yourself with their extreme hot wings. The big mama’s birds are brined for 12 hours, making each mouthful a tender and flavoursome delight, while we can’t get enough of the Mexican-style waffle, which is buried under mounds of barbequed meat, jalapenos and sour cream.

The American theme is continued in the cocktails with their own brand of moonshine, while the larger than life sharing cocktails are guaranteed to get the party started. Giant pornstar martini anyone?

This is the first time I have used First Table but will be using it more regularly because the offer is fantastic! Great atmosphere, will be returning very soon! :-)
